The Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Training Center

High Plains Technology Center's Energy Training Center is the official mid-continent site for premier oil and gas training. The program was started in December, 2005 and since that time; over 4200 potential workers have been trained in the skills areas designed to help workers work as safely as possible in the oil and gas industry.

The training is unique in that participants use simulators and hands-on training coupled with time in the classroom to ensure students are trained in the most realistic environment. The Center is committed to providing the highest quality training to strengthen the workforce for our domestic energy industry.

Training modules include:

• Medic First Aid/CPR
• Basic Forklift
• Rig Pass (IADC certified)
• Hands-on Training
• Field Technician Training
• Production Technician Pumper Training
• OSHA Training
• Floorhand Training for Well Servicing
