Health Careers Certifications
Health Careers Certifications offers students the opportunity to pursue career pathways
including: Nursing Assistant, OT/PT Aide, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Tech I, Veterinary Assistant, Phlebotomy/Lab Technician, EKG Tech, Student Athletic Trainer and Medical Assistant. School certifications are awarded for each completed pathway and National and State certifications are available for those who qualify.
Health Science Technology offers both traditionally structured instructor directed lecture and discussion based learning as well as student centered, technology enhanced, self-paced curriculum. Clinical applications are also an important part of the curriculum. Students complete individualized programs of study in one to four semesters.

Including Safety and Asepsis, Legal and Ethical Issues, Medical Math, Assessment Techniques, Assist With Mobility, Professional Development, Introduction To Health Care Systems, Educational Enhancement and CPR/First AidAnatomy/Physiology
Medical Terminology - Intro and Advanced
Students Then Move On To Individual Career Pathways:Direct Care
Including Long Term Care Aide, Home Health Aide, Medication Admin. Tech, Alzheimer’s/Geriatric Care Aide, Restorative Care Aide, Student Athletic TrainerTherapeutic Care
Including Phlebotomy Tech I, Dental Assisting, EKG Technician, Pharmacy Technician I, Veterinary Assistant, Occupational/Physical Therapy Aide
Medical Office Career
Including Clinical Office Assistant—Phlebotomy, EKG, Sterile Technique, Basic Laboratory Testing, Assisting With Examinations, Assisting With Procedures and Administrative Medical Assistant—Medical Coding, Transcription, Basic Accounting, Front Office Skills
