Adult Training and Development offers classes designed to provide entry-level job skills, enhance present skills or prepare an individual for new employment opportunities. Any person age 16 or older may enroll in Adult Training and Development classes. These short-term courses may be scheduled in the evenings, during the day or on Saturdays. New sessions are offered in September, January, March and June. New classes may also begin when a special need arises. Classes may be held on the High Plains campus or at local schools in the High Plains district. Tuition and cost for books and supplies vary depending on the type and length of the class.

Class topics include: business, computers, health and safety, marketing, CEU’s for professional groups, EMT Training (First Responder Through Paramedic), child care (CDA), Dietary Manager, Trade and Industry Courses, and Special Interest!
